Submitting the TA Application
When should I submit my tuition assistance application?
We highly recommend you submit WebTA/NCPACE Distance Learning (DL) applications at least 30 days in advance of your institution’s published term start date. However, per NAVADMIN 219/16, you must submit and ensure your WebTA application is Command Approved electronically in My Education between 120 and 14 days preceding your institution’s published term start date. Enter your Command Approver’s email carefully to ensure s/he receives it and follow up to ensure it is command approved prior to the 14th day. By submitting your tuition assistance (TA) application early, it will allow sufficient time to resolve issues and to review and approve your TA funding in a timely manner.
