What is NCVEC
What is the Navy College Virtual Education Center (NCVEC)?
The Navy College Virtual Education Center (NCVEC) serves as the Navy College Program’s (NCP) central location for information and guidance on all off-duty Navy Voluntary Education (VOLED) programs, products, and services. The NCVEC is staffed by Education Services Specialists (counselors) who provide education counseling services and academic support to active duty and reserve personnel. These academic counselors provide advice and guidance to Sailors on establishing academic and career goals, selecting academic institutions and majors, the college/university application and enrollment process, and the Navy’s funding programs such as Tuition Assistance (TA) and Navy College Program for Afloat College Education (NCPACE) program. Additionally, Education Services Specialists provide Navy and DOD VOLED program guidance and support to Command Triads, Educational Services Officers (ESOs) and Command Career Counselors (CCC).
