I was a Navy Reservist and am now commissioned as an active duty officer. Does the 2-year service requirement include my prior reserve time or only time spent on active duty?

The pay entry base date will be used to determine the 3-year service requirement for both officer and enlisted members.

Officers with a minimum of 8 years of prior enlisted Active Duty service (Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force, Coast Guard) including Limited Duty Officers (LDO) and Chief Warrant Office (CWO) are eligible to use TA or NCPACE at all officer ranks. All other Officers become eligible upon promotion to O-3.
